The second leg of the Copa do Brasil final between Coritiba and Palmeiras was played in Curitiba. The home fans did everything they could to make their team come back from the 2-0 loss they suffered in the first leg, and they did so mainly with a really impressive strobo show at the player entrance. Their efforts were in vain though, as Palmeiras managed to draw and took the title.
After beating Boca Juniors 2-0, the title was Corinthians’, and as this is being written they’re probably still partying in São Paulo. This title was extra special for the fans, as it was the first time their time managed to win the Libertadores. Lots of flares, and great atmosphere from the Corinthians fans. Boca Juniors did have quite a nice following, but they were, understandably, not having one of their best nights.
After winning 0-2 away against Instituto Cordoba, San Lorenzo had it all in their own hands to secure a spot in the Primera Division the coming season. The team did what they should (drawing 1-1), in front of packed stands, and the atmosphere was electric and absolutely amazing. Look at how full the stands are and listen to the amazing singing. World class!
