As the Swedish season kicked off again after the Euro 2012, Djurgården hosted IFK Göteborg. This is traditionally a big match, between two of the bigger teams in Swedish football, and this game was not an exception. Scuffles between fans broke out before the game and the police had a few sweaty minutes, but managed to get things under control, and made a few arrests.
In the stands, Djurgården ultras dominated with a massive smoke tifo accompanied by blue stripes. As is compulsory in swedish football when smoke or flares are used in the stands, the referee led the players off the field. The game started a few minutes later.
